She started as a volunteer at the Wildlife Clinic of RI and now holds a Level 2 wildlife rehabilitation license through the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RI DEM). Meg actively pursues ongoing learning opportunities to deepen her knowledge and skills.

A lifelong animal lover, Meg Morris is thrilled to dedicate her skills and passion to helping wildlife in need.

She also brings over two decades of experience in corporate environments, where she excelled in leadership, research, and project management. Combining her business expertise and passion for animals, she is dedicated to making a positive impact through Wild Things Rescue Cove.

Although not old enough for rehabilitator licenses, these two cover a lot of ground here! They spend hours feeding baby sparrows and starlings and are masters of poop cleanup and food prep!

  • Meg brings two decades of business expertise, specializing in market research, branding, advertising, and storytelling, with notable experience at Fidelity Investments, CVS, and RDW Group. A lifelong animal enthusiast and creative spirit, she channels her passion through painting with oils, crafting mosaics, and experimenting with digital art.

    Meg’s passion for wildlife rehabilitation led her to open Wild Things Rescue Cove.

  • Alicia Uth is an artist and educator based in Maine, with a deep-rooted passion for art that began in her childhood. She earned her degree in art education from Rhode Island College and spent many years as an advisor at the MET High School in Providence. Additionally, she taught various classes for the Rhode Island School of Design's Continuing Education program, including printmaking and courses like "Creature Feature" and "Rebel Art: Voice of the People."

    Alicia has continued her artistic endeavors and works as a teaching artist with Side x Side, an organization dedicated to integrating art into education.

    She now teaches at Maine Virtual Academy and Maine College of Art and Design.

  • Miranda Tracey graduated with a degree in interior design from the New England Institute of Technology and has over two decades of experience in the industry. Her approach to design emphasizes sustainability through a classic aesthetic that transcends fleeting trends, ensuring timeless spaces for her clients. Additionally Miranda has more than a decade of expertise in retail store management under her belt.

    Miranda strives to be an active member of the community. She makes it a priority to raise awareness for mental health with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, as well as homeless and hunger throughout Rhode Island. Community outreach is her passion.

  • Susan Dacruz spent most of her professional life working in IT for companies such as Citizens Bank and AT&T. Alongside her professional career, Susan nurtured her creative streak as a talented seamstress with SD Designs, crafting custom pieces that showcased her artistic flair. Now enjoying retirement, she channels her creativity into designing and producing a variety of home decor items, which she sells through local businesses, bringing her unique blend of craftsmanship and artistry into people's homes.
